The Fast 500 lists North America’s fastest growing tech companies… and many are hiring.

Earlier this week, Deloitte released its 2023 Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists, which showcase the fastest growing companies across North America based on fiscal-year revenue growth over a three-year period. Companies on these lists, which are touting triple-digit revenue growth, are looking to hire software engineers to work on their platforms in Canada. Check out all the organizations recruiting at Jobs.BetaKit for more opportunities.

Fivetran

Fivetran runs an automated data movement platform that it says works for thousands of companies looking to make data movement easy and reliable. The Oakland, Calif.-based software company landed at the 148th spot on the Fast 500 with a three-year revenue growth rate of 979 percent. Fivetran is looking for software engineers across North America, and has multiple full-time positions available at its Toronto office.

One of the open positions is for a staff software engineer that is proficient with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to join its developer productivity team. Applicants don’t necessarily need to be CI/CD experts, but will need to have experience working with a diverse set of technologies.

Those hired to this position will use Java, TypeScript, and Python, among other languages, and will explore existing CI/CD pipelines. They will then propose and implement future-proof solutions for underlying infrastructure bottleneck issues.

Fivetran is hiring for many software engineer positions on its job board, which can be found here.

Trulioo

Coming in at 398th place on the Fast 500 with a 314 percent three-year revenue growth rate is Trulioo, which offers a digital-identity verification software solution that operates as a single API integration. Hiring for its Vancouver office, Trulioo claims to offer global identity verification for 700 million business entities serving 5 billion consumers.

Trulioo is hiring a senior software engineer in test to specialize in developing automated tools that help evaluate product quality. The hired candidate will design, develop, and maintain software applications and testing tools for both frontend and backend evaluations while mentoring intermediate and junior team members.

Applicants should have at least four years of experience in developing robust software solutions, systems or test automation frameworks and have coding experience in at least one of Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java.

Loopio

Loopio placed 499th on this year’s Fast 500 with a three-year revenue growth rate of 227 percent. Its platform is meant to simplify and automate the work that goes behind request-for-proposal responses for many industries, including healthcare, financial services, and telecommunications. Loopio is a remote-first workplace where employees are expected to live and work within either Ontario or British Columbia.

The company is hiring a software developer to join the software engineers in its core experience team. Loopio says software engineers looking for opportunities to improve their mastery will be successful in this role. The successful candidate will be working with a team of developers to build end-to-end features from scratch and contributing to the transition of the Loopio application to a service-based architecture.

Applicants are expected to have three years of professional software development experience, including full stack development, with a strong understanding of upstream testing practices and the ability to build out test cases. Loopio encourages all prospective candidates to apply, whether or not their experience checks off all the boxes on a job posting.
