Former Act-On Software executive, Shawn Naggiar, is joining Toronto-based Limelight Platform as president and COO, to lead its expansion in the US. Limelight Platforms will be targeting markets in California, New York, and Detroit.
Previous to Limelight, Naggiar was chief revenue officer at Act-On Software, chief business officer at Moxtra, and chief revenue officer at Liftigniter. Naggiar has a background with over 15 years experience as a sales leader, and has been mentored by Silicon Valley leaders with multiple IPOs and over $4.7 billion in exits. According to Limelight, he has assisted in scaling companies from $0 to $400 million annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Also joining the team is a number of (unnamed) sales management hires Naggiar has previously worked with in Silicon Valley.
Andrew Carlin, Limelight’s former COO has been appointed EVP of business development to assist with the company’s growth strategy. Carlin was formerly at Cision as vice president of sales and customer success.
Limelight allows its clients to design and communicate campaigns in one place, while using data and analytics to help deliver consumer experience. To date, Limelight has over $10 million in venture funding from investors including iGan Partners, Sandhill Angels, Hyde Park Ventures, and Acceleprise Ventures.
