Intel Developer Zone opens up in Waterloo at the Communitech Hub

The Communitech Hub in Waterloo is breeding many new startups and Intel has expanded their role to help bolster their ideas. The “Intel Developer Zone” has opened up and is a lab that will give digital media developers access to hardware and software and and test on “Intel’s processors, mobile platforms, and software development products.” The lab will also provide an opportunity for local developers to interact with Intel experts in person, engage in seminar series, and online via a forum.

“Intel has long been part of the innovative technology cluster in the Waterloo region, and we are excited to expand our presence there with the Intel Developer Zone. This marks an important Canadian addition to our global strategy of research and development,” said Graham Palmer, Canada Country Manager, Intel. “This lab will support innovative developers in the region by providing them with access to software developer tools, platforms, and expertise to enable the development of technology for the future.”
