Director, Product Management, Broadridge (Vancouver)

Broadbridge is looking for a new Director to be responsible for managing a small team of Product Managers within the Wealth, Capital Markets group, helping them meet established goals for the business unit and assigned products. This includes understanding the market, assisting with market strategy, building and executing a market roadmap, and supporting the full software development life cycle including gathering market research, product ideation, gaining funding, establishing go-to-market strategies, and managing new product roll-out.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting, along with 10-plus years of experience in leading and managing multiple high-impact products and processes. Five-plus years in Product Management, with a strong understanding of at least one vertical in brokerage, is also an asset.

Senior UI/React Engineer, Workday (Vancouver)

Workday is trying to modernize its end-user experience and needs a Senior UI/React Engineer to help them succeed. This engineer will be responsible for developing high-performance user interfaces, leading initiatives to support the UX goals of Workday, and providing mentorship to more junior engineers.

The ideal candidate has seven-plus years of experience building JavaScript applications, two-plus years of experience with React.js, and is an expert at assembling large-scale modern applications. Experience with Spend Management, Inventory, Supply Chain, or Financial software is a plus, as is experience with GraphQL.

Senior Software Engineer, Valeyo (Winnipeg)

Valeyo is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer for a six-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension or a permanent position. The role is centred on the company’s new Lending technology, primarily focused on API integrations. This role includes collaborating with architects on design and creating platform roadmaps for Valeyo’s web-based applications using a Service-Oriented Architecture.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, is comfortable with software development, and has an understanding of technology in financial services. Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, developing and consuming REST APIs, SQL Server, and TFS source control are a plus.
