Vantage adds Magento support as analytics platform approaches $2B in analyzed transactions

Vantage

When Toronto-based Vantage announced its $1.1 million seed round last summer, President and co-founder Aran Hamilton indicated that the funding would allow the company to expand its data analytics platform beyond Shopify. At the time, the Vantage had already analyzed over 800,000 transactions, worth over $65 million, from over 600 different Shopify stores.

Today, Vantage is closing in on $2 billion worth of analyzed transactions as the company announces support for Magento merchants worldwide. Owned by eBay, Magento has over 250,000 stores powered by its open-source commerce platform. Vantage will be available for Magento merchants via Magento Connect, the largest e-commerce application marketplace in the world. The service will come in both free and premium versions, but custom options are also available.

“The Vantage Dashboard is already used by thousands of retailers in 80 countries to turn data into insight and action.” said Hamilton. “From their first sale to tens of millions of dollars in revenue, Vantage will help Magento stores to target and market with impact.”

Vantage will also unveil the latest version of its analytics platform next week at #PreImagine, a Magento community event preceding Imaging Commerce 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
