After hosting a successful one-day conference in Bristol, United Kingdom last year, Shopify announced that it is bringing “A Day with Shopify” to five cities in five countries later this year.
A Day with Shopify, a full-day conference dedicated to helping guests learn about growing a business and becoming successful Shopify Partners, will take place between September and November 2017 in Birmingham, UK; New York City, New York; Vancouver, Canada; Bangalore, India; and Melbourne, Australia.
Shopify said the conference will focus on peer collaboration and connection by providing attendees with presentations curated by Shopify, and delivered by Shopify Partners.
“This is an opportunity to position yourself as a leader within the ecosystem.”
At the conference, guests will gain actionable advice and learn how Shopify Partners found growth opportunities and Shopify’s projects and initiatives. They will also get the chance to network with Shopify’s partners and employees — including Shopify leadership, partner managers, and members of Shopify’s apps team.
Attendees can showcase their skills through five-minute lightning talks, and speak with Shopify employees and conference speakers about their businesses, challenges they face, and opportunities for growth.
Shopify said with the launch of A Day with Shopify in five new cities, the company is looking for speakers who want to share advice and insights with other Shopify Partners about a variety of topics, including growth, marketing, pitching, account and client management, and other industry-relevant topics.
“This is an opportunity to position yourself as a leader within the ecosystem, and to share your invaluable experience with your peers,” Shopify wrote in a statement.
