MoveSnap wants all-in-one moving platform to become standard service offered by real estate agents

MoveSnap, one of the latest pitches on The Disruptors, is aiming to help people manage the moving process in one single platform.

The Toronto-based company allows users to complete moving-related tasks, such as changing their addresses, connecting utilities, and hiring movers, on one platform. MoveSnap’s CEO Reuven Gorsht says the platform aims to connect real-estate companies, homeowners, and businesses “in real-time” and “in a helpful context.”

“We give you a personalized plan for your particular move based on different variables such as location, family situation…and so on,” said Gorsht. “We see ourselves as a de facto standard for anyone that’s relocating across the globe, making the entire process seamless, easy, and enjoyable.”

Co-host Amber Kanwar said she thinks it’s neat that MoveSnap is partnering with real-estate agents to reach clients, especially as Canada’s real-estate market is growing.

“I learned that they are partnering with real estate agents and what they’re letting the real estate agents do is white label the platform as if they’re offering it to the clients. All of a sudden, you’re value add,” said Kanwar. “Canada’s real estate market, it’s really hot right now so you’re almost piggybacking off of that success.”
