Montreal’s Lagoa reportedly sold to Autodesk for $62 million

According to a report in La Presse, Quebec-based Lagoa, who specializes in 3D modeling, has been reportedly acquired by Autodesk for about $62 million. Unfortunately, founder Thiago Costa declined to comment on the transaction.

Lagoa allows customers to design and publish 3D CAD drawings in their browser. The company $5.3 million last December from Cambridge-based Atlas Venture and Real Ventures. Previously, Lagoa saw $1.6 million in funding once again from Atlas and Real Ventures, along with Rho Canada and 500 Startups.
