IoT Events acquires Dx3

dx3

Dx3, an event for marketers examining the relationship between tech, media, and retail, has been acquired by IoT Events.

For the past seven years, the Dx3 Conference in Toronto worked to connect Canada’s retail, digital marketing, and tech communities, attracting over 3,800 attendees.

In recent years, the conference has hosted a range of opportunities for Canadian startups including the Retail Innovation Challenge and PayPal’s Startup Zone.

Dx3 CEO Duncan Payne shared the news via email to past participants, and said Dx3 will be hosted by the IoT Events team, which is led by CEO Hifazat Ahmad. This year, IoT events is set to host conferences like Toronto’s IoT Intelligent Cities and Vancouver’s Big Data and Healthcare Summit.

“After 7 years, we believe we have done what we can for Dx3 and now it needs fresh ideas, new energy, direction, and passion,” Payne writes in his statement. “Faz and his team have a lot of exciting new ideas about the event that they will share with you in due course.”
