BusBud strikes partnership with Greyhound, aims to be a go-to resource for travelers worldwide

Montreal’s Busbud, the bus travel booking website that aims to transform the “archaic” systems currently in place, has struck a partnership with Greyhound. Busbud is currently active in 90 countries and 10,000 cities and this partnership with Greyhound brings another 3,800 North American routes to its customers.

“Busbud aims to be a go-to resource for travelers worldwide, and our new relationship with Greyhound gives customers even greater access to high-quality bus travel in North America,” said Busbud CEO and co-founder LP Maurice. “Bus transportation is a more affordable and environmentally sound way to travel, and with the massive network Greyhound serves, Busbud customers can arrive home for the holidays even closer to their loved ones’ doorsteps.”

Busbud recently received $9 million in financing led by Omers Ventures, Revolution Ventures, iNovia Capital and Real Ventures.
