BetaKit is now accepting applications for a variety of roles to join its expanding nationwide editorial team.

Our purpose is to connect, interrogate, and inform Canadian tech.
 

BetaKit is the publication of record for Canadian startup and tech innovation news, providing trusted and accessible business journalism. Our team and coverage span the country, breaking news and producing in-depth reporting across a variety of formats. Read by the people tracking, financing, and building the next generation of business, our purpose is to connect, interrogate, and inform Canadian tech.

Successful candidates will be able to cover a variety of news assignments with speed, accuracy, and insight. Strong writing skills, a passion for business news, and a proven ability to find and report big stories are a must.

Applicants must reside in the province specified for the role. However, each position is fully remote, reporting to BetaKit’s Toronto-based team.

Laura is the Director of Operations at BetaKit and thrives on making order out of chaos. She spends a lot of her time on causes that are important to her as the Executive Director of Twelve Donations and as a Vice-Chair on the #Tech4SickKids committee. She also loves to go for hikes with her Samoyed, who despite being a senior, has puppy-like energy.
