Startup Canada is seeking nominations for its fifth annual Startup Canada Awards.
Entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations are invited to apply for 18 awards, which include the Startup Canada Indigenous Entrepreneur Award, Startup Canada High-Growth Award, and the Startup Canada Woman Entrepreneur Award.
“We take pride in Canada as a nation of disruptors, dreamers, and doers,” said Cyprian Szalankiewicz, co-founder and VP of Startup Canada. “The Startup Canada Awards celebrate the untold stories of Canada’s most creative and innovative entrepreneurs, and those who are supporting their success. We look forward to shining the spotlight on Canadian entrepreneurship and innovation through these Awards for the fifth year in a row.”
Past award recipients include David Johnston, former Governor General of Canada; Nicole Verkindt, founder of Offset Market Exchange; and Michele Romanow, co-founder of Clearbanc.
Regional award winners will be announced at grassroots startup events across Canada this summer, with the grand finale taking place in Ottawa on October 18, 2018. Apply for an award here.
