On June 13, AccelerateOTT will return for another year of connecting the capital’s founders, VCs, and next generation innovators.

Speakers this year include Elizabeth Yin, co-founder of Silicon Valley-based Hustle Fund; Andrew Waitman, CEO of Assent Compliance; and Chris Heivley, entrepreneur-in-residence at Techstars.

Invest Ottawa, the city’s economic agency that organizes the event, said that speakers were chosen based on experience helping companies achieve $100 million in valuation, sales, or funding. They will provide concrete insights into how startups can scale, gain global market traction, new customers, and investment. Invest Ottawa also said that it has invited more investors and VCs than previous years.

“Ottawa’s tech ecosystem is founded on startups that have scaled into global players. AccelerateOTT will celebrate and build on these achievements,” said Mike Tremblay, president and CEO of Invest Ottawa and Bayview Yards. “With the theme ‘Scale or Fail’ and an incredible roster of speakers, this event will arm companies with the strategies and tactics needed to grow revenue, raise capital and recruit winning teams.

The theme of this year’s conference is meant to complement Invest Ottawa’s five-year strategic plan to build the city’s innovation economy.

Tickets are available on the website here.
