WeWork has confirmed the location of its fourth Toronto space.

The new space will be located in Toronto’s Financial District at 100 University Avenue and is expected to open on November 1, 2018. WeWork said the new building will have 875 desks across two floors, and give users access to the St. Andrew subway station and the PATH walkway system.

“WeWork’s community-centric sensibility is the perfect fit for this vibrant downtown location.”

“We are seeing incredible demand for our product in Toronto and it is becoming one of WeWork’s fastest growing markets,” said Rudy Mangino, director of real estate at WeWork. “We’re excited to be announcing our fourth location, this one in the downtown core by partnering with a great landlord like Manulife.”

In March, a report from Bloomberg indicated that WeWork is planning to open 20 more locations in Toronto by 2020.

WeWork opened its first Canadian location in Montreal in March 2016, and confirmed its first Toronto location on Richmond Street in April 2017. The company has also leased space in Vancouver.

“Manulife Real Estate welcomes WeWork to 100 University Avenue,” said Michael Bardyn, managing director of Greater Toronto at Manulife Real Estate. “WeWork’s community-centric sensibility is the perfect fit for this vibrant downtown location, just steps from the financial core, the entertainment district, and the TTC.”
