BetaKit is proud to announce that our job board is now officially open for the Canadian startup community to use.
If you attended our #BetaKitIPO event last week, or read about our announcements, you know that our job board is unique. If you didn’t, then here’s the deal.
The BetaKit Job Board is a resource dedicated to the Canadian startup ecosystem to promote your open positions and alleviate some of the pressure of finding great talent. It is free to use and to help boost potential applicants, we will highlight your open positions on our social channels.
In addition, you will notice that there is also a “pay what you want” option. The “pay what you want” model allows for you to literally pay any denomination you want: $1, $2, $5, $50, $1,000… it’s up to you. If you decide to drop some coin, then all your contribution will go directly into BetaKit.Fund.
What is the BetaKit.Fund? Well, it’s our way of investing in Canada’s startup community. All money in the BetaKit.Fund will go towards initiatives to help the startup community grow, such as pitch competitions, hackathons, demo days, new partnerships or programs.
We will continually track the total amount raised in the BetaKit.Fund, and at the end of the year, let the community decide how to invest that money. So if there is $100, $10,000 or $100,000 in the BetaKit.Fund, all of it will be going right back into the community. You can read more about our reasons for launching the BetaKit.Fund here.
We hope you like it and that you’ll use it to help your company grow.
