Ten early-stage startups are set to be showcased tonight at the thirteenth version of Launch Party.
Launch Party is the flagship event of Edmonton Startup Week, which has been taking place since Monday. Launch Party is where ten companies will pitch to the broader Edmonton tech ecosystem.
Since Launch Party first started in 2010, 115 companies have taken part and raised a collective $278 million USD in investment and $22 million CAD in grants to date, according to Edmonton Unlimited.
Drivewyze, Jobber, and LoginRadius are among the companies that have taken part in years past.
Edmonton Startup Week is the first major event hosted by Edmonton Unlimited after its recent rebrand from Innovate Edmonton following its restructuring in 2020 to combine all of the city’s publicly-funded innovation organizations, including Startup Edmonton. The latter organization was the first to organize Launch Party.

Edmonton Startup Week is funded in part by Alberta Innovates through the Edmonton Regional Innovation Network, as well as various community and corporate partners. The week is also hosted in partnership with Techstars through its Startup Weekend program.
“Innovation is a team game and we’re pumped to rally the entire city behind this year’s Launch Party honourees,” said Edmonton Unlimited CEO Catherine Warren.” With the local connectivity, support, and exposure that companies receive during Launch Party and beyond, homegrown ventures have a strategic advantage — and a launchpad for sustainable growth. Today, as one of North America’s fastest growing tech sectors, we are fortunate that local visionaries set the stage as far back as 2010 for Edmonton’s startups to soar.”
