Sun Life has launched of Lumino Health, a digital platform giving Canadians insight into health providers.

Lumino Health includes ratings, cost, and other information to help Canadians find and choose healthcare resources. Additionally, Lumino Health includes information on more than 150,000 health providers (and more than six million ratings on these providers from Sun Life clients who have used these services), information on the latest health products and solutions, and insights from health industry experts through content.

“What’s unique about Lumino Health is how quick and easy it is to find a health provider that fits your needs,” said Chris Denys, the senior vice-president of possibilities and digital health solutions at Sun Life Financial. “In the past, if you moved, you would have relied on word of mouth or spent time researching to find a new set of health providers like dentists and physiotherapists. Now, you can use Luminohealth.ca to find the best matches for you in less than a minute.”

“Lumino Health is a game changer and it’s about time a health network like this is available,” said Olympic hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser. “As an athlete, I’ve used my share of massage therapists, physiotherapists and dentists to help me be my best throughout my playing days, but now as a busy mom and medical student, Lumino Health makes it so much easier and quicker for me to find everything I need in one place.”

Lumino Health can be accessed here.
