For the sixth year in a row, Durham-based Spark Centre, in partnership with Ontario Power Generation (OPG), is accepting applications for its Ignite Pitch Competition, which awards entrepreneurs up to $125,000 in seed funding.

This year, the Ontario Power Generation is looking to expand its reach by supporting three specific sectors, including inspection and reactor innovation, environment, and refurbishment. Spark Centre said the winner in each category will receive $25,000 and the opportunity to work with OPG departments to develop their idea.
