Kitchener-based Communitech has announced a number of new board members as part of its 2018 to 2019 board of directors.
The hub named Dave Caputo, chairman of Sandvine, as chair of Communitech, and Jennifer Smith, senior VP of technology and operations at Cineplex Digital Media, as vice-chair. Amy Hastings, general counsel, was appointed secretary of the board.
Caputo and Smith replace Steven Woods, engineering director at Google, and Michael Litt, CEO of Vidyard, as chair and vice chair. Woods and Litt will remain on as board members at Communitech.
Founded in 1997, Communitech is a public-private innovation hub that supports a community of over 1,400 companies.
