Montreal-based integrated security operations management provider, TrackTik, has announced a new $1.5 million round of seed funding today, led by iNovia Capital. The round comes less than a year after a $1 million round of seed funding from Klass Capital (its first investment in a Quebec startup) and members of Facebook Canada.

In addition to the new funding, TrackTik has announced a new client, Securitas North America. Securitas is recognized as a global leader in security, and will use TrackTik to facilitate operations, source insights, and manage business development via the startup’s web and mobile clients.

Securitas is committed to providing its clients the very best in guard management software and we have found this in our partnership withTrackTik,” said Bill Barthelemy, COO of Securitas North America, in a statement to BetaKit.
