Mark Evans’ Story Spark workshop wants to help entrepreneurs explain what they do


The question “what do you do?” is one that entrepreneurs will encounter several times at networking events. But Toronto-based marketing consultant Mark Evans says that not many people can answer this question well.

To help entrepreneurs, Evans launched Story Spark, a free online course meant to help entrepreneurs give a more compelling answer to the question of what they do. The course includes six videos, including “How are you unique?” and “Precision: audience and benefits.”

“With so much noise, it’s a huge challenge to capture someone’s attention,” said Evans. “So when the opportunity arises, entrepreneurs need to deliver a crystal clear and powerful answer that resonates and, as important, encourages people to ask for more information.”
