Launch Academy hosting blockchain hackathon on October 21

Vancouver’s Launch Academy, an early-stage tech incubator, is hosting a blockchain hackathon with Bluzelle, a decentralized database that supports your applications.

The hackathon is geared to enthusiasts looking to bring blockchain and decentralized app ideas to life, and have their developments reviewed by leaders in the space.

Confirmed judges for the hackathon include:

  • Koho’s CTO, Charles Krempeaux
  • Launch Academy’s co-founder, Ray Walia
  • Victory Square Technologies CEO, Shafin Diamond Tejani
  • Bluzelle’s software engineer and computer systems architect, Neeraj Murarka

The prizes include two tickets (valued at $1,400) to ConFoo Vancouver, where global experts will be gathering for 88 technical presentations in industries like AI and security. The first prize winner gets $500 in cryptocurrency spread over a maximum of three devices, while second and third place gets $250 and $100 spread over two devices respectively.
