Four Canadian developer/engineering roles available now

EnPoint

Software development positions in America are projected to grow 22 percent over the next eight years; the fastest average projected growth of all occupations. Given the similarity in ecosystems, we can expect similar growth here in Canada. In fact, we are already seeing a major demand for software engineers in the Canadian job market.

If you’re interested in finding a new role in the field, check out some of the best opportunities available right now.

Drupal Developer, EnPoint

EnPoint is looking for a talented developer with formal software development training and 3-5 years of professional experience with any of the following: Drupal (Drupal 8 or 9), PHP, HTML, SASS/CSS, or JS. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of software development best practices to the work, and experience with visual regression testing and product analytics tools like Hotjar or Full Story.

Success in this role means producing reliable and maintainable software to meet the application and infrastructure needs of the En Point Mentorship platform. You will get the oppurtunity to wear many hats, including leading development operations and quality assurance processes, working with CEO, and interacting with third party vendors.

Full-Stack Developer, Felix Health

Felix Health is looking for developers to join their growing team after securing $10 million in funding. Felix has built and launched a strong first generation product, solving some foundational unknowns in the Canadian healthcare space, and they’re looking for experienced developers to help make an impact on the business. In this key developer role you would be instrumental in the development of the current application and have influence in Felix’s technology roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have experience writing, deploying, and operating high quality, well-tested, observable application code particularly with PHP or Laravel, along with Cloud infrastructure experience, preferably AWS. They should also be an experienced developer with a track record of delivering production ready application code.

Engineering Manager, Moz

Moz is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead one of their full-stack development teams, with an ambitious roadmap to add significant new functionality to their core products in 2021. This team is in an exciting position to add customer growth through the addition of new innovative features while building towards a new technical stack by making operational investments in existing services and strategic advancements in new services to set Moz up for future success.

In addition to the opportunities the direct team provides, Moz has recently expanded its engineering manager cohort. You’ll have opportunities to mentor other developing managers and have a big impact on the company’s management culture.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded software engineer with a passion for building a better patient and healthcare provider experience.
