DRIVE adds Richard Florida as keynote speaker

DRIVE has added Richard Florida as its keynote speaker at the conference’s inaugural event on February 20-22, 2019.

A senior editor for The Atlantic and director of the Martin Prosperity Institute at the Rotman School of Management, Florida is also the author of The Rise of the Creative Class and The Great Reset. According to the DRIVE website, Florida will leverage his published works to speak to “how creativity and the Creative Class are revolutionizing the global economy.”

The DRIVE conference was created in partnership between Hockeystick and the Lazaridis Institute in order to provide insight into scaling tech ecosystems, and will take place at the Lazaridis Hall at Wilfrid Laurier University’s campus in Waterloo.

Registration for DRIVE is still available through Eventbrite.
