Cybeats IoT Radar App now on the Palo Alto Networks Application Framework

Toronto-based cybersecurity company Cybeats has announced its IoT Radar app will now be available on the Palo Alto Networks Application Framework.

The IoT Radar app analyzes network connections and alerts users to IoT threats, provides insights relating to connections with rogue networks, and visualizes IoT devices on the network while recognizing devices with vulnerabilities.

The announcements follows Cybeats’ recent$3 million funding round to expand its team locally and abroad.

Cybeats deploys internal defense, monitoring, and lifecycle management geared towards IoT devices to protect against threats.

“IoT devices are becoming an integral part of organizations’ IT environments, but security has traditionally not been top of mind in their deployment,” Dmitry Raidman, CEO and co-founder of Cybeats, said in a statement. “Cybeats technology provides real-time detection and neutralization to the cybersecurity threats that target IoT devices.”

Cybeats deploys internal defense, monitoring, and lifecycle management geared towards IoT devices to protect against threats. The company’s microagent is implanted into devices to provide protection that allows devices to detect threats while gathering data.

The Palo Alto Networks Application Framework extends the capabilities of the Palo Alto Networks Security Operating Platform, which allows companies to implement a number of cloud-based security apps from a variety of providers.
