Toronto-based Crowdbabble, a pitch on the latest season of The Disruptors, wants to give marketers a way to gain more subscribers and customers.
Crowdbabble has created an analytics automation platform that allows companies to track a customer’s media performance across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The company’s goal is to help media companies’ marketing teams build large, highly-targeted audiences of subscribers.
“Crowdbabble helps these marketers to acquire subscribers in a more efficient manner.”
– Abbas Alidina
“We’re basically disrupting marketing. Marketers realize that consumptions have changed. Social handles are basically the new email address,” said Abbas Alidina, founder and CEO at Crowdbabble. “Crowdbabble helps these marketers to acquire subscribers in a more efficient manner with more highly targeted subscribers, at a cost that’s 80 percent less than alternatives.”
Co-host Amber Kanwar said it’s important for Crowdbabble to ensure it is “insulated and protected” as the social media and marketing analytics industry has lots of competitors like Hootsuite.
Co-host Bruce Croxon agreed and said “there’s a lot of people” trying to build analytics solutions for marketers. “So my advice to the young man is if you’ve got something he calls unique to the industry, you better hurry up because there’s a lot of people doing it,” said Croxon.
