SkyWatch and Ada Support each take home $50,000 at Communitech Rev Demo Day

Communitech Rev Demo Day SkyWatch and Ada Support

Communitech Rev Demo Day split $100,000 in winnings between SkyWatch and Ada Support last week. Following the CIX Summit, the event featured pitches revenue-focused startups recently graduated from the Communitech Rev Accelerator.

“These startups know how important sales and marketing are to the success of their businesses,” said Greg Barratt, VP of Strategic Growth Team at Communitech. “As graduates, they’ve worked to build a successful sales funnel and are on the path to $25 million annual recurring revenue.”

The Communitech Rev Accelerator helps startups design a scalable sales and marketing process during a six-month coaching program. The accelerator’s ninth graduating cohort included six startups from the Toronto-Waterloo Corridor:

The startups pitched their ideas to a panel of  industry experts, including Sarah Marion, Senior Analyst at iNovia Capital; Eva Lau, Managing Partner & Co-founder, Two Small Fish Ventures; Ameet Shah, Partner, Golden Venture Partners; and Ajay Gopal, Associate Director, BDC IT Venture Fund.

The next Rev cohort will begin on November 1, 2017.
