Montreal-based Sonder has revealed that it’s raised $135 million to date, according to a report from Forbes.
Sonder’s funding to date was bolstered by its most recent $85 million Series C led by Greenoaks Capital, which Forbes reported exclusively. ScaleUP Ventures, Real Ventures, Greylock Partners, Structure Capital, and Spark Capital also participated in the round.
Sonder’s platform allows travelers to book rooms in the same way as Airbnb, except spaces aren’t rented out by the owner of the room. Sonder leases the units itself and furnishes each room that reflects the vibe of the city, and currently has over 2,200 units with over 3,300 rooms in 11 cities.
Sonder’s last reported round was $10 million in 2016, when it rebranded from Flatbook.
