Communitech Rev announces fourth cohort of startups refining their marketing processes

Communitech Tannery

Communitech Rev, an accelerator that helps product-ready companies improve their sales and marketing strategies, announced its fourth cohort of startups.

According to a report from Communitech News, the five startups are graduates of programs like Y Combinator, Velocity, Tech Stars Mobility, the Accelerator Centre, and Ryerson DMZ.

The five startups include Alert Labs, Chalk.com, LiveGauge, PitStop, and Reebee.

Communitech Rev doesn’t take equity, but remain accountable to embedded executives from the sales, marketing, and product industries when reaching their weekly goals. Past graduates of Communitech Rev include Bridgit and Piinpoint.

“It’s important for these companies to understand what a marketing and sales engine looks like,” Daryl Sherman, one of the accelerator’s embedded executives, said during the announcement of its third cohort. “We help them to understand how this matters to their success by digging deep into their businesses, and looking at sales and customers in a different way.”
