Wearables that help with wellbeing get the spotlight on Canada AM

“I don’t know where you find all this stuff when you come in,” Canada AM host Bev Thomson commented as BetaKit senior editor and We Are Wearables founder Tom Emrich was decked out in the Sensoree sweater, which changes colours based on emotions.

Emrich was in the studio to introduce the audience to the next generation of smart clothing. Thomson rocked a vest from Toronto-based Vagalume, which is creating electro-luminescent clothing that to give cyclists more visibility.

Smart socks from Washington-based Sensoria Fitness, Emrich explained, will also help runners of the future prevent injury.
