Traction Conference is back for another year. With two jam-packed days of in-depth talks and rapid-fire keynotes, attendees can expect to hear from Y Combinator, Hotwire, and Hootsuite. Now, Traction has announced another high-profile addition to their roster of speakers — Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield.
Butterfield will share insights on startup revenue and growth with Slack’s investor and board member Mamoon Hamid from Social Capital, in a 0 to $4 Billion at Breakneck Speed fireside chat.
Vancouver-based Slack has more than 2.7 million daily active users, 800,000 paid users, and 430 employees. To date, the company has raised $540 million, and has a current valuation of $3.8 billion. The company has investors including Social Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and Google Ventures. Slack counts the U.S. State Department, Salesforce.com, and Harvard University among its customers.
Stewart joins Traction’s lineup of speakers including Justin Kan, partner at Y-Combinator set to be Toronto-based Revlo’s group lead at YC following its seed round; Heather Zynczak, CMO of Domo; and Daniel Saks, CEO of AppDirect.
