For the second straight year, Canada’s largest in-person SaaS community has partnered with the publication of record for Canadian tech and startups at SAAS NORTH this November in Ottawa.
Use the code “BETAKIT25” for 25 percent off your ticket. Because BetaKit loves SaaS.
Similar to last year, SAAS NORTH’s main stage will be renamed the BetaKit Keynote Stage for the entirety of the two-day conference, featuring content co-programmed and moderated by BetaKit. Like last year, the BetaKit Keynote Stage will be the place to see and hear from the key people building and financing Canadian SaaS companies.
Headline speakers include 1Password CEO Jeff Shiner in conversation with BetaKit senior editor Meagan Simpson, and Paddle CEO in conversation with BetaKit editor-in-chief Douglas Soltys. The BetaKit Keynote Stage will also feature prominent investors in the Canadian ecosystem: Georgian’s Margaret Wu, OMERS’ Laura Lenz, Bessemer’s Aleeza Hashmi, and Two Small Fish Ventures’ Eva Lau. With so many investors in the mix, the AWS PitchFest—featuring eight finalists and $115,000 in cash and in-kind prizes—naturally returns to the stage this year as well.
“Response to last year’s BetaKit Keynote Stage was overwhelming,” Soltys said. “Our only recourse this year was to try and pack more great content onstage while maintaining the types of insightful conversations that were so popular last year. In partnership with SAAS NORTH, I think we’ve done that.”
This year, SAAS NORTH expects over 2,000 attendees and 800 companies in attendance. Those interested in attending who somehow have not yet secured a ticket should do so using the code “BETAKIT25” to knock 25 percent off the ticket price (because BetaKit loves SaaS).
“We have the most diverse roster of speakers ever at SAAS NORTH this year, and we are proud of the voices we are showcasing, all of whom are experts in their fields,” said SAAS NORTH and Cube Business Media co-founder David Tyldesley.
Living up to its reputation of almost being too awesome, the BetaKit Keynote Stage will not be the publication’s only official participation at SAAS NORTH. The BetaKit Podcast booth is set to return—featuring interviews with several SaaS luminaries—and, for the first time ever, the BetaKit Podcast will host a live recording featuring special guests in front of a SAAS NORTH audience during the Day 2 breakfast (RSVP here).
