Pressboard pitches its story marketplace on #TheDisruptors

BetaKit has written about the problems digital media publishers face before, but it has unlikely been uttered as succinctly as on last night’s episode of The Disruptors, when co-host Bruce Croxon laid it out thusly: “publishers are desperate.”

Thankfully, startups like Pressboard are here to help. Pressboard co-founder Jerrid Grimm gave the HIGHLINE portfolio company’s elevator pitch, explaining how its story marketplace connects publishers and advertisers in a way that until now has been done manually. As The Disruptors co-host Amber Kanwar notes, it’s a process that has landed Pressboard clients like Best Buy and Telus, as the company sets its sights on North American expansion.

Disclosure: BetaKit’s East and West Coast offices are housed in HIGHLINE’s Vancouver and Toronto co-working spaces.
