#paid helps brands sell themselves through influencer marketing

#paid

On the latest episode of The Disruptors, Toronto-based #paid appeared on the show to talk about how they are capitalizing on the rise of influencers in social media.

#paid allows brands to connect with influencers in spaces like food, lifestyle, and travel. Brands send #paid an idea of what they’re looking for and a budget, while the company works to facilitate the collaboration and develop a strategy.

“#paid is changing the way that brands create and distribute content by connecting them with the most talented content creators in the world and democratizing access to those content creators,” said CEO Bryan Gold.

Co-host Amber Kanwar said that #paid is a good example of why people want to increase their follower count. “They start doing product placement, so if they’re not going to be entrepreneurs, they can at least gain 10,000 or 100,000 followers on Instagram,” she said.
