As Wello’s new president and CRO, Casselman will focus on leading the startup’s growth strategy, client experience, product, and service offerings.
“Access to timely, quality healthcare continues to be a challenge,” said Casselman. “I am pleased to be joining an organization with both a passion for innovation and a legacy of quality care provision.”
Casselman has over 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare, group benefits, and technology. She previously held executive positions within Sun Life Financial and was the first Chief Health Officer at League.
In late 2018, Casselman joined TribalScale as president and COO after the departure of its former CRO and president Kirstine Stewart. Casselman also served as an executive advisor of #MoveTheDial, an organization that has created a global movement committed to advancing the participation and leadership of women in tech.

INLIV said Casselman’s expertise in the healthcare and employee benefits industries “have made her a sought-after thought leader, author, and public speaker.”
“As we continue to expand our business to build for the future, we are thrilled to have Lori join the team,” said INLIV president and CEO Vince Danielsen. “Her unique perspective on the future of health along with her passion for technology and the customer experience make her a tremendous addition.”
Launch by INLIV in 2017, Wello aims to provide direct and efficient access to medical support and care for immediate and long-term needs without patients having to visit a doctor’s office. It does this through on demand, phone or video-calling across Canada. It also provides 24/7 on-call support for urgent care needs after hours. With help from a network of nurse practitioners and medical care coordinators, Wello aims to diagnose, prescribe, and treat acute and chronic illness through on-going health management.
