Toronto-based iGan Partners is seeking applications for its Pitch to Heal competition promising $250,000 to one healthtech startup.
The venture firm is seeking seed-stage medical device and healthcare IT companies developing solutions for cancer, mental health, and diabetes. iGan surveyed 10,000 Canadians to narrow the focus of the competition to those three issues, and entries will be narrowed to three companies.
“iGan Partners is pleased to provide this investment opportunity, as we believe that Canadian companies are blazing the path to more effective healthcare globally,” the firm wrote in a blog post.
The competition takes place on October 25. Startups can apply for the competition here until September 25.
