Vancouver’s Hootsuite, the social media dashboard company that raised the largest round of venture capital in Canadian history last year, is ready to host its third #HootHire event, in which it will seek to hire another 100 heads.
The event will take place August 27 from 5 – 7 PM PST, at Hootsuite’s new office that they call “HQII”, at 111 E. 5th Ave in Vancouver.
“Job-seekers and tech talent rejoice! The semi-annual HootHire event is back. We’re throwing open our new HQ2 doors to applicants for all roles on our careers page, with a focus on hyper-growth in sales and development. Come visit us to learn about joining our rapidly growing team in Vancouver and help keep up our pace of innovation around the globe,” wrote the large Canadian company.
Specifically, the company is looking for sales people “who are passionate about helping brands around the globe use social media and technology to transform everyday social messages into meaningful relationships.” They’re also searching for engineers who can learn about “how we embrace innovation, curiosity, and give you lots of room to create. Talk to our engineers about what it’s like building great product with a lot of trust, a few dogs, and an egoless environment.”
Those attending will have the opportunity to meet members of the Hootsuite team, some of which will be the original engineers and first ever marketers at the company (while others will have been there less than a month).
