The Developer 30 Under 30, a new initiative dedicated to recognizing developers building the infrastructure behind Canada’s companies, has released the list of its winners.

Established in 2017, the Developer 30 Under 30 allows developers to apply or be nominated for the award. Judges include Government of Canada CTO Marc Brouillard, FreshBooks VP of engineering Oliver Fisher, CIBC SVP Georgia Woods, Canada Goose CIO Jacob Pat, and Pizza Pizza CIO Amar Narain. The awards received over 500 nominations.

The winner’s list spans the startups like Wave to enterprises like Google, and also includes employees of companies that have launched the award through sponsorship.

“In 2017, The Developer 30 Under 30 award was spearheaded with the sole intention of shining a light on the coders, the architects, and the masterminds that are responsible for the industry’s technical revolutions,” said Sep Seyedi, CEO of Plastic Mobile and the founding judge of the Developer 30 Under 30.
