Dx3, Canada’s leading technology, digital marketing and retail event, and Concept 7, a leading experiential marketing and event agency, are partnering up to launch the first-ever Innovators Now innovation summit in Toronto.
“We are stuck in an us versus them mentality when it comes to enterprise and startup, when it’s actually us (Canada) versus the world.”
Taking place November 19 at Telus Digital Labs, Innovators Now will bring together individuals from enterprise, startups, and government who are driving innovation within their industries. The event will provide both inspiration through speakers and education through curriculum and active learning methodologies to equip attendees with tools and best practices to initiate rapid change and advancement within their organizations.
Eric Doucet, director of business development at Dx3, says that a summit like Innovators Now is long overdue in a country that has difficulty facilitating innovation. “It’s time to change the conversation,” Doucet said. “We are stuck in an us versus them mentality when it comes to enterprise and startup, when it’s actually us (Canada) versus the world. We have to think macro, not micro.”
The summit, which will accommodate 150 people, will have a highly structured, active-learning program with masterclasses, workshops, and keynotes in order to address the pain points affecting an organization’s ability to innovate. There will also be small Q&A sessions that will allow attendees to fully participate.
“We are bringing the worlds top innovators and change agents to deconstruct their success into an applied learning format,” Doucet said. “From data science, to AI, to growth hacking to food science we are curating a series of Keynotes and Masterclasses taught by those on the forefront of innovation.”
The talks on innovation won’t end at the summit. Innovators Now attendees will be involved in quarterly networking meetups, pop-up events with innovation experts and individual quarterly mentorship.
