“Young Canadian tech companies from coast to coast are experiencing staggering growth.”
– Robert Nardi
For its part, Montreal-based Frank & Oak took the number one spot for its four-year revenue growth of 18,480 percent. The technology-driven brand has gained a following from tech-savvy millennials with personalized style advice and curated style selections. Corvus Energy, which manufactures high-power energy storage systems for marine, oil and gas, and port applications, followed closely behind with growth of 16,943 percent in the past four years.
“Young Canadian tech companies from coast to coast are experiencing staggering growth,” Nardi said, noting that two-thirds of companies said that hiring talent was either the #1 or #2 most significant issue. “However, for these firms to maintain their trajectory they need to have the right talent mix. For today’s fast-growing companies, finding and attracting talent is of great importance.”
