CentriLogic acquires Advanced Knowledge Networks, expands Canadian network

CentriLogic, a Missisauga-based provider of managed hosting, cloud computing, co-location, and advanced IT outsourcing solutions, announced today that it has acquired Advanced Knowledge Networks, a Toronto-based company with offices in Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax.

AKN provides managed IT infrastructure solutions, including hosting, cloud, and private Wide Area Network services. CentriLogic said that the deal enhances CentriLogic’s service capabilities and will provide the company with broader market access across Canada.

“We believe that our two companies combined will serve Canadian and International organizations through delivering a wide variety of adaptable offerings for IT infrastructure management, while enabling CentriLogic to immediately extend our Canadian presence from Ontario to nationwide,” said Robert Offley, president and CEO of CentriLogic.

Through the acquisition, AKN employees will be integrated into CentriLogic. “CentriLogic has been our primary data center facilities partner for several years and we have been successfully deploying customer implementations together since 2012, so we anticipate immediate synergies and a seamless transition for customers and staff” said Monica Rok, president of AKN. “Our companies share a similar culture and commitment to client care, and we look forward to bringing CentriLogic’s services and solutions to our growing customer base.”

AKN has managed IT solutions for companies like Leon’s Furniture, Harry Rosen, Bayshore Healthcare, and Longo’s Brothers Fruit Market.
