BrainStation opens new downtown Vancouver campus

BrainStation Vancouver

BrainStation, a digital technology education provider, has opened a new campus in Downtown Vancouver. Initially launched three years ago, BrainStation says it has trained over 50,000 individuals and corporations in topics including user experience (UX) design, data science, product management, full-stack development and digital marketing via its Vancouver, Toronto, New York, and San Jose campuses.

Located at the corner of Granville and Pender, BrainStation’s new Vancouver campus is over 20,000 square feet.

“This new campus will give us even more opportunities to equip Vancouver’s working professionals with the cutting edge skills needed to continue elevating the city as a technology hub,” said Jason Field, Founder & CEO of BrainStation.

BrainStation’s team spent the past twelve months building this new campus and planning the opening, which attracted over 250 people from Vancouver’s top tech companies. In his speech about the vision for the new campus Kyle Treleaven, General Manager of BrainStation, discussed how he hopes the full-time programs, part-time courses, workshops and events will help individuals and companies achieve digital success.

“It has been amazing to be a part of this community for 3 years and evolving into our new campus creates a space to support the fastest growing industry in Vancouver. It is predicted 54,000 BC tech jobs will be created by 2020, we will be doing our part to help support that growth.”
