BetaKit at #SXSW: Bionym’s Karl Martin Shows Us The Nymi

Joseph Czikk chatted with Bionym cofounder Karl Martin at the #SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas.

Czikk’s first question was why everyone in Canada seems to love talking about Bionym? “People are like, ‘wow, I could use that, something that you wear that replaces all your passwords and represents your identity’,” said Martin. The Nymi is planned to come out out mid-summer.

In the video the Toronto startup cofounder shows us the pre-production model of the Nymi band while talking all things SXSW, wearable tech and even an embarrassing story involving Karl pitching to a “major unnamed gaming console company”.
