Connection Silicon Valley, which helps Canadian startups connect with the Silicon Valley ecosystem, has announced that applications are now open for the Canadian Women’s Network Fall Cohort.
The cohort is being held in San Francisco on December 10 to 14, 2018. Designed for women founders of startups with up to $1 million in revenue or women with a decision-making role in a startup or technology company, the cohort’s series of events aim to help businesses scale and attract more foreign investment dollars into Canadian companies.
“The Canadian Women’s Network brings together over 30 highly experienced and connected ex-pat Canadian women in Silicon Valley who want to support budding entrepreneurs and women in tech reach new heights,” said Joanne Fedeyko, the CEO of Connection Silicon Valley and founder of the Canadian Women’s Network. “We purposely structure the agenda to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to participate in workshops, speak to mentors one-on-one and form valuable relationships with each other.”
As well as pitch feedback and office hours, the cohort program includes roundtables on topics such as successful growth models, when and how to build strategic alliances, developing media and positioning strategies, and fundraising in Silicon Valley.
Applications to attend the fall cohort close on October 26. For more information on the application criteria and to apply click here.
