Australian freelance services marketplace Freelancer.com announced today that they’ve expanded their Canadian presence and opened a Vancouver “engineering lab.”
Freelancer, which dubs themselves as the “world’s largest freelancing, outsourcing, and crowdsourcing marketplace for small business” currently has over 350 employees around the world and the immediate plans for the Vancouver office is to grow the company and hire 20 in various positions, including developers, software engineers, regional communications, public relations and support.

Freelancer has over 10.4 million users accessing its freelancing marketplace. In addition, over 5.5 million projects have been posted in 650 categories.
