Startup Open House returns to give inside look into companies like 500 Canada, Lightspeed

Since its inception, Startup Open House has given each community a chance to connect with companies right from their headquarters. On September 22, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver companies will open their doors to thousands of people curious about what goes on inside the offices of the companies they care about. Waterloo’s event will be happening on October 4.

“Startup Open House is one of the most important annual startup events in Canada, exposing companies nationwide to many thousands of new people each year,” said Satish Kanwar, Director of Product at Shopify and a Startup Open House organizer. “The broad awareness and in-person engagement the event facilitates is critical to help homegrown companies find the talent, partners, and customers all around them. It’s also simply a celebration of the diversity and richness of our ecosystem, by opening the doors for anyone to learn about startups in Canada.”

Attendees can expect to check out companies like 500 Canada in Toronto, Breather in Montreal, Slack in Vancouver, and Kik in Waterloo.

Tickets for the event — and in Toronto’s case, the afterparty — are available now on the Startup Open House website.
