Zonetail announces US launch of its mobile hotel platform
Toronto-based Zonetail, which connects hotel guests to the amenities and services of their hotel through an app, has launched a local version of its app to Tampa Bay, Florida with AAHOA, the largest association of hotel owners in the world.
Through the app, guests can select their hotel destination and the app will tailor the content to provide information and connectivity to any Zonetail-supported hotel worldwide. It will also include all local area information on attractions, events, dining, and shopping will also be included.
“Our mobile platform offers real value to the traveler and to the future of the travel and hospitality industry,” said Mark Holmes, president and CEO of Zonetail. “Smartphone and tablet owners are more likely to use hotel services if they were made available via mobile devices. The Zonetail mobile app improves the communication process between the hotel and guest.”
The launch in Tampa Bay is the first in a planned national rollout of the Zonetail platform, which is planned to eventually cover every US market where AAHOA members own hotels, along with additional hotels in Canada and around the world.

Mavencare expands to Boston
Toronto-based Mavencare, which connects seniors to home health care services, has expanded to Boston.
Through Mavencare, caregivers can log their interactions with the Mavencare mobile app, and families have full access to the day-to-day activities. Mavencare’s proprietary algorithms and machine learning capabilities can also identify when there may be an impending health issue and alert all relevant stakeholders to help prevent an avoidable emergency department visit or hospitalization.
