The BetaKit Keynote Stage is heading west, set to host captivating conversations with tech leaders at INNOVATEwest 2024.
On April 16 and 17 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the inaugural INNOVATEwest is set to unite technology enthusiasts, enterprise leaders, and corporate visionaries, to showcase industry insights from established and budding tech enterprises.

As an INNOVATEwest media partner, and similar to SAAS NORTH, also hosted by Cube Business Media, INNOVATEwest’s inaugural main stage will be renamed the BetaKit Keynote Stage, brimming with tactical advice and wisdom from seasoned experts and key ecosystem figures.
The stage will feature a roster of tech luminaries, kicking off with Canva chief evangelist and author Guy Kawasaki, who will share perspectives from his book, “Think Remarkable,” which explores the journey of creativity and growth, and the path to fostering a more dynamic ecosystem.
Next up, BetaKit’s very own editor-in-chief Douglas Soltys will host a lively conversation between Koho founder and CEO Daniel Eberhard and Wealthsimple co-founder and CEO Michael Katchen on how they’re challenging the status quo of the financial system.

Key figures from Canada’s quantum sector—Lisa Lambert of Quantum Industry Canada, Dr. Paul Terry from Photonic, and Alex Condello of D-Wave—will also grace the stage to explore quantum technology’s latest advancements and use cases.
And the 2024 conversation wouldn’t be complete without delving into tech’s hottest topic: artificial intelligence (AI). Startup TNT‘s William Johnson will join Handol Kim from Variational AI and Justine Gauthier of Mila for a clash of titans, that will navigate through the diverse and often opposing perspectives shaping the AI narrative.
The BetaKit Keynote Stage will also be the place where winners of the Firehood Angel Camp, the Grizzly Pursuit, and the generative AI hackathon will be crowned.
