In his personal mission to give back to the children and the leaders of tomorrow, Manny Padda has contributed to a wide variety of the education and not-for-profit sectors.

He is an active advisor and angel investor globally, 2016 angel investor of the year, and 2017 Startup Canada’s Entrepreneurship Promotion Award of the Year recipient. Padda has been returning 25 percent of all profits made from his angel investing back into the community.

“A portion of my portfolio is dedicated to philanthropy,” he said.

Padda is the founder of Vancouver-based New Avenue Capital, an investment firm that encompasses venture capital, private lending and executive search to offer a one-stop shop for early-stage ventures. Founded in his twenties, New Avenue Capital has accumulated multi-million dollar portfolios in over 50 companies across 12 countries, within its seven years of operation.
