Slack is reportedly pursuing $500 million USD — and receiving inbound interest from several tech companies, including Amazon.

Bloomberg reports that Slack’s value could be at least $9 billion in a sale, according to people close to the matter. A $500 million USD funding round would put Slack at a valuation of $5 billion USD.

Amazon and Slack declined to comment to Bloomberg, though Bloomberg’s source noted that a sale or a funding round were equally likely. An acquisition by Amazon would boost Amazon’s enterprise service, as Amazon Web Services recently unveiled a video and audio-conferencing service.

Slack raised $200 million USD at a $3.8 billion valuation in April 2016, and has been pushing towards entering the enterprise space with a platform that allows tens of thousands of employees to collaborate across teams.

According to Recode, Slack has a projected a $1 billion in revenue next year.
